Last year, over 1/2 ton of produce was donated from the garden to Foodshare; MG volunteers hope to better that total this year. All of the plants were started by seed (at Marie's house) and are organic. Report 9/10: Over 1100 pounds of veggies delivered. We lost all of our squash mid season to vine borer and mildew, which was unfortunate.
We are still harvesting lovely eggplant, all kinds of peppers, okra, tomatillos.
