Members of the Middlesex County MG Focus Group got together in late March 2008 to kick off the gardening season.
The Model Community Garden in Haddam was cleared of winter debris and quickly transformed into a productive vegetable garden.

Literary Master Gardeners, Farmington (pictured at left).
Members of this enthusiastic group have been taking care of the gardens at the Farmington Library for the past 5 years. They not only maintain the gardens on a weekly basis, but have also worked to install new plants and to catalogue all of the plants in the garden. The group meets at the library every Friday morning during the growing season, and are happy to show off their work and to answer gardening questions from the public.
Several members of the Friends of the Farmington Library are part of the group, and work alongside the Master Gardeners. Would you like to join these MGs at the Library? Contact us for further information.
