Volunteers needed for a Master Gardener booth at the Second Annual Norwalk Tree Festival to be held at Shady Beach Park. The festival is a celebration of trees. Other attendees will be commercial tree companies, tree wardens, and the Ct Ag Experiment Station.
May 3rd and 4th (9:00 am – 3:00 pm)
Volunteers needed for a Master Gardener information booth at Benedict Agway of Monroe’s open house weekend. Hayrides and other activities for kids will be available. Flexible days and times are available. Volunteers do not need to stay the entire time.
Friday, June 6th (10:00 am – 3:00 pm) Discovery Museum Fundraising
Master Gardeners needed to be stationed at beautiful Fairfield and Southport dardens to answer general gardening questions. See the beautiful gardens for free.

Neighborhood surrounding lake is having their 2nd annual Lakefest outdoors to educate homeowners about environmentally safe gardening practices. Speakers are needed for short talks on topics such as Rain Gardens, Gardening for Wildlife, Butterfly Gardening, etc.

Master Gardeners are needed for planning and publicizing the 6th Annual Garden Fair held on the Extension grounds in Bethel. Volunteers are also needed for the day of the Fair for set up, tear down, to staff booths
and help run this popular event free to the public.
