Connecticut Master Gardener Association holds three major events every year for the benefit of CMGA members and the Master Gardener community:
* The March Symposium - our major event, held at Manchester Community College, Manchester, Connecticut. This event presents a keynote speaker, a closing speaker, and as many as 12 additional speakers in break-out sessions during the day.
The event is primarily held for current CMGA members, who benefit by getting early advice of the upcoming symposium and discounted membership tickets. The 2012 Symposium is scheduled for March 24, so register now!
* The Summer Garden Safari- the mid-summer semi-annual membership meeting and garden tour.
* The Annual Membership Meeting, which includes a breakfast get-together, the membership meeting and election of officers to the CMGA Board, and a guest speaker.
These events - and many more of the wonderful projects carried out by Connecticut Master Gardeners - are reported on in the quarterly CMGA newsletter, The Laurel. The newsletter is mailed out to current CMGA members and MG Interns. Past copies of The Laurel may be easily accessed by members of this website. Click here to access the newsletters.
More CMGA and Master Gardener outreach projects are highlighted in CMGA Projects.
